Standalone
SLURP has a standalone application for both Windows and Linux.
Mac Standalone
There are no plans for a Mac standalone application. This is just due to the limitations of the framework we are currently using.
Audio Settings
At this moment in time SLURP Standalone does not contain any audio in/out settings. It will currently use the default audio in/out settings specified by your operating system.
Will it ever get audio settings?
We are looking into ways to add internal audio settings for SLURP Standalone but as it stands there are none.
JACK support
If you're using Linux with JACK audio support SLURP will become a JACK audio connection. That means if you're using something like PipeWire for your audio stack you will be able to connect your audio and midi through gpwgraph or an equivelent tool.
If you don't use JACK your default audio in/out settings will be used, just like Windows.
MIDI
SLURP Standalone will react to midi messages on your system as long as it isnt being used by something like your DAW. If you're using JACK you will need to specify the incoming midi signal.
